    CONCRETE ABRASION & CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

Project Title CONCRETE MILK PARLOR FLOORS OF DAIRY FARM – WISCONSIN, 2013

    Project Brief

Replace existing epoxy and protect a 300 sq. ft. concrete floor subjected to high traffic, mild acids used for sanitizing, and substrate movement from thermal temperature

    Our Solution

EPL-9TM self-leveling polyurea used to fill in potholes and holes around the drains

No primer used Applied SPI Prep WipeTM to cleaned and dried surfaces

Chosen for its abrasion and chemical resistant properties, SPI’s HT-100FTM UB polyurea was spray applied over old epoxy and the EPL-9TM filled potholes

Reduced project labor and material costs by using “UB” formula, eliminating extensive surface preparation, a primer, mortar filler or dry sacking
